Women and Girls rugby in the community.
Within the community setting there are a variety of opportunities to participate in rugby from the age of 6 to senior rugby.
WRU Girls Hubs - Is the WRU version of club rugby, its an age group banded participation program hosted at community rugby venues throughout Wales.
Skill Development Centres - These centres offer an additional training opportunity for girls of all abilities from U12’s to u18’s.
Adult Rugby - An opportunity for Women aged 18+ to participate in competitive and recreational rugby.
The WRU run national competitions in which Clubs, Districts and Girls Hubs all have the opportunity to compete for the chance to play at the home of Welsh Rugby, The Principality Stadium. In 2023, 29 cup finals were played across 10 days throughout April with thousands of fans flocking to the stadium to support their teams.
