Balls, Cones, Tag Belts

  • Players start at the bottom of 30m x 30m grid (refer to diagram)
  • Defenders are placed in the middle of the grid
  • On the coaches whistle or command the attacking player aims to get to the opposite side of the grid. Defenders must attempt to tag the attacker, if successful defender must call tag and raise the tag above their head and then adds the tag to their own belt for safe keeping.
  • If the attacker is successfully tagged, they join the defence and become a defender
  • Run the activity for a set time period or until all attackers are successfully caught by the defenders
