Hub Programme Review 2018-2021
The ambition of the WRU is to grow, develop and enhance the WRU Hub Programme whilst future proofing rugby union participation in Wales and supporting the health of our young people. This ambition sees Hub Officers as integral to broadening the appeal of participating in rugby and ensuring Welsh rugby is inclusive and engaging to all ages, genders, and communities. The Hub Programme and its Hub Officers can be uniquely deployed to suit the needs of both the educational setting and the Welsh Rugby Union, making the Hub Programme a powerful tool for good in Wales.
The review will:
- Quantify all aspects of investment in the Hub Programme by the WRU and its partners
- Review processes within the Hub Programme to ensure that the programme aligns aims and objectives with the WRU Rugby Strategy and the current educational landscape
- Communicate a clear timeline for the roll-out of the next phase of the WRU Hub Programme
